Jamshedpur: An 18-year-old girl ended her life by jumping into the Hudco Dam under Telco police station area. The body of the girl, who lived at Balaji Nagar of Govindpur police station area, was seen in the dam on Wednesday morning. As the news spread, the police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. Police are investigating the case. Divakar Singh, father of the deceased Pooja Kumari, was informed about the incident.
Diwakar Singh said that Pooja Kumari was using her mobile on Tuesday night. Her mother scolded her. After this, she got angry and left the house. The family searched for her but could not locate her. After this, the family had informed Chota Govindpur police station and Telco police station about the missing daughter and gave her mobile number. As soon as the police got the news of the girl’s body being found in the Hudco Dam, they called Diwakar Singh and informed him.
