Demand facilities for workers, students and patients stranded in other states
Jamshedpur, April 22: BJP leaders on Wednesday observed a day-long fast demanding facilities for the workers, students and patients trapped in the lockdown in different states of the country. BJP has alleged that a large number of residents of Jharkhand are deprived of government help. BJP MPs, MLAs, state and district level leaders observed a one-day fast at the call of the state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party, accusing Chief Minister Hemant Soren and the state government of neglect.

By keeping a symbolic fast, the BJP leaders tried to attract attention by drawing attention of the Government. BJP leaders observed fast in their homes from ten in the morning to four in the evening. In Jamshedpur, former Chief Minister Raghubar Das, MP Vidyut Varan Mahato, District President Dinesh Kumar, State Spokesperson Rajesh Shukla, Former State President Dineshanand Goswami, Former MLA Maneka Sardar, District Councilor Vice President Rajkumar Singh, Kulwant Singh Bunty observed the fast.

BJP leader stuck in Delhi under lockdown Abhay Singh also observed fastr. Former Chief Minister Raghuvar Das, who was on fast, said that the Jharkhand government is insensitive towards its people who are trapped outside. The Jharkhand government is not taking sufficient measures to tackle Corona epidemic. Migrant laborers, workers, students and those who are stranded outside the state are not being taken care of.

In protest, former Chief Minister Raghubar Das was on a fast at his residence in Jamshedpur said that the State Government must reached the people. He advised the Chief Minister of the state that politics should be avoided in times of disaster. It is necessary to learn from the CM of UP how to take steps for people.

Jamshedpur MP Vidyut Varan Mahato said that Hemant Sarkar’s attitude is negligent. The government’s steps are limited to the announcements BJP District President Dinesh Kumar said that the steps of the government are politically motivated and positive suggestions of the opposition are also being ignored.
