Jamshedpur, July 5: Science exhibition helps develop students’ talent and their enhances their interest towards taking up science as a career, said, Jayshree Asnani while addressing the gathering on the occasion of Science Exhibition at Atomic Energy Central School-2 (AECS), Jaduguda on Wednesday.
At the exhibition 140 students of class 6 to 10 participated. The science models including Air Cooler, pollution free car, herbal medicine and sea energy were the centre of attraction. At the exhibition 40 models of science, 20 of social science, 11 of mathematics were put for display.
On the occasion school principal SK Sarangi said, through character development in students our country will move ahead and take on the world’s best. Education is a tool which can help bring change in the society, Sarangi added.
Present during the exhibition were B Thomas Reddy, Suchitra Kunwar, Meeta Saha, SK Sahu, DP Raut along with teachers of the school were present.
Judges for the occasion were N Sethi, RL Patnayak, MK Swain, Seeta Parihar and Suparna Mandal inspected the models. The winner of the exhibition will participate in the Science Exhibition to be held in All India Atomic Energy Centre in Rawatbhata (Rajasthan).
