Jamshedpur: Fifty Lion members from eight different Jamshedpur based Lions Clubs and of Lions Club Noamundi and Lions Clubs of Chaibasa which fall under Region 1 of Lions District 322 A today attended the one day schooling held in the Auditorium of Singhbhum Homeopathy Medical College.
Zone Chairpersons and incoming President, Secretary, Treasurer, First Vice President, Chairperson – Membership Extension, Chairperson – Lions Quest, and Chairperson- Sight First of each club were present in the schooling.
Ln Anil Oraon, the incoming Region Chairperson of Region 1 who welcomed the participants, co- ordinated the schooling with the guidance of District Global Leadership Team headed by Past District Governor Ln Rajiw Lochan.
Ln A K Srivastava, Past District Governor elaborated on the Membership and Club Growth, Ln Anand Choudhary another Past District Governor spoke on various Leadership Development Programme offered by Lions Clubs International and various -Lions Leadership Institutes which will be held during the year which Lion members can take advantage by attending , Ln Sudipto Mukherjee, Past District Governor illustrated the members on how to report their club activities, membership growth, financial obligations and other related information which is readily and widely available on Lions Clubs Website and can be easily operated by the password provided by the organisation, Ln Nalini Mukherjee, Past District Governor emphasized on time management and importance of Public speaking.
Ln Rajeev Ranjan, District Governor (Elect) spoke about International President and his District Goals while Ln Kanchan Singh First Vice District Governor suggested new ideas of service projects which a club may wish to initiated and e-club which keeps the members intact with regular flow of information.
Ln Rajnish Kumar, Second Vice District Governor( Elect) with interactive session emphasized on the importance of Public Relations in Branding of Lions Clubs International and International Approved Lions Quest Skills for Adolescence Programme which is going on in 81 countries of across the globe and in many schools of Jamshedpur.
Anil Oraon spoke about the Funding agency of Lions Clubs International Foundation and District Service Foundation urged members to come forward and contribute.
At the end District Governor (Elect) Ln Rajeev Ranjan summed up the schooling and Ln Kanchan Singh, First Vice District Governor (Elect ) extended the vote of thanks. The feedback was very encouraging and such interaction was suggested to be held on regular basis as it helps in educating them and also bring them together.
