Gamharia: Students of Xavier School and Vani Vidya Mandir today took out rallies in various places under Gamharia Block to ensure that each voter exercised the constitutional right of franchise. The students took out the rallies as a part of voters� awareness campaign.
The awareness rally taken out by the scouts and guides of Xavier School was flagged off by Principal Fr Kuruvila and marched through Shankarpur village, Usha Morh and several other bastis before returning to the school campus. Vice Principal Sister Pauline, Sujit Rajak of scouts and guides, Neha Singh, Rajiv Hansda accompanied the students during the rally.
The students of Vani Vidya Mandir took out a bicycle rally from the school premises and it passed through Uttamdih, Sapda, Bandih, Ghodanga, Anandpur and other villages spreading messages for voters� awareness. The students in the bicycle rally were joined by Principal Hemlal Mahto, Umesh Kumar, Mihir Kumar Modak, Manas Ranjan Majumdar, Bhavesh Chandra Mahto, Dilip Kumar Mahto, Kamdev Mahto, Varun Mandal and Gopinath Pradhan.
