School kids will be sent on excursion outside Jharkhand: Raghubar

Ranchi, April 10: Inaugurating �Vidyalaya Chale Chalayein Abhiyaan 2017,� Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said the school committees have to play an important role in brushing up the hidden talent in the children. He said that every child of the state should go to school and no dropout should be there in the state.

�Cent percent attendance of children and teachers is needed in the schools on a daily basis. At the same time, sanitation should be maintained along with imparting good education. The school management committee should ensure this,� said the CM.

Das said that lack of resources will not be allowed to hinder the campaign of educating the children. �When children get educated, poverty will get eradicated automatically. Secondary education which was not given focus is being given priority. The government is serious about providing quality education to poor and marginalized children and doing everything needed for their education. The basic infrastructure is being strengthened,� he said.

The CM said that all schools in the state will be transmitted electricity by 2018. Moreover, laboratories will be made in all high schools. Appointment of teachers is under process, he said.

The CM appealed to the people to promote �Vidyalay Chale Chalayein Abhiyaan.

MLA Jitu Charan Ram, School Education Sec Aradhana Patnaik, Secondary Education Director Dr Manish Ranjan, Primary Education Director Kripanand Jha, State Project Director Mukesh Kumar, DC and SP of Ranchi and several other government officials were present on the occasion.
