Ranchi, Oct 22: The execution of schemes in the state can be accelerated by implementing direct benefit transfer (DBT). Chief Secretary R S Sharma said this today during video a conference on DBT with the Labour Department officials at the Project Building.
In the video conference the Deputy Commissioners of Ranchi, Bokaro, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Saraikela, Khunti, Lohardaga, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Sahebganj, Chatra and Saraikela in the National
Informatic Centres (NIC) premises located at the respective districts were also connected.
Labour Commissioner & Director, Social Security, Puja Singhal said the State Pension Portal will be functional from 25th October, 2013. This portal will act as a source of information provider, she
added.
Chief Secretary stressed on making the portal as friendly and maintaining proper work flow. He said this portal will provide all the necessary information about the pensioners and through this process people will get pension at their doorsteps.
Chief Secretary directed to prepare a graph showing the progress report of all districts.The Principal Secretary, Labour, Employment & Training Department, Vishnu Kumar, Secretary, Finance Department, A.P.Singh, Principal Secretary, Information Technology Department, N.N. Sinha, Principal Secretary, Personnel Department, S.K.Sathpathy along with other officials was also present during the meeting.
