SCCI urges railways to continue 1st AC coach in Steel Express

Jamshedpur, July 13: Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) have expressed concerns over the railways decision to discontinue the 1st AC coach from Tata-Howrah Steel Superfast Express.

Vijay Anand Moonka, general secretary, SCCI is a letter to S.N. Agarwal, General Manager, South Eastern Railway, said, ‘We came to know from different sources that shortly first AC coach will be discontinued from Steel Superfast Express’.

He urged the GM to continue 1st AC coach in above train as many corporate officials and persons of repute travel. The letter further stated that all the AC coaches of this train run in full capacity and there is no revenue loss to the railway and would request you to add one more 3rd AC coach in this train.
