SCCI urges Jharkhand CM to regularize power supply

Jamshedpur, April 28: Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has urged Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren to ensure smooth and regular power supply in Jamshedpur and surrounding areas. The SCCI mentioned this in a tweet to the Chief Minister. SCCI President Vijay Anand Moonka said, “The power supply system has collapsed during the past several days and people’s regular pursuits had been affected in and around Jamshedpur including those localities not under the purview of Tata Steel UISL. Everyone including senior citizens, children and students, members of the trading and industrial fraternities are being greatly inconvenienced due to the poor and sickly status of power supply.”

Moonka said that people were being made to withstand the scorching summer due to lamentable power supply condition. In his tweet to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the SCCI President has demanded that concrete decisions be taken for uninterrupted power supply for relief of the people already under the curse of unnerving summer conditions that has been topped by poor power supply. He has demanded the Hon’ble Chief Minister to take concrete decisions in the direction of providing relief to the people of the state and to provide regular supply of electricity.
