SCCI pays tribute to founder Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata

Jamshedpur: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry paid homage ceremony on the occasion of Founder’s Day at the Chamber building, honouring the founder of Jamshedpur, Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata.

Officials and members of the Chamber gathered to pay floral tributes and express their gratitude to the visionary industrialist whose dream laid the foundation of Jamshedpur as a leading industrial city.

Addressing the gathering, Chamber President Manav Kedia described Jamsetji Tata as a unique visionary whose dream was to establish Jamshedpur as a major industrial hub on the Indian map. “Today, his dream has come true. We should draw inspiration from his ideals and values and continuously strive for the all-round development of the city and industry,” he said.

Honorary General Secretary Puneet Kavatia noted that it was Jamsetji Tata’s foresight and industrial vision that transformed a small town like Kalimati into globally recognised Tatanagar and Jamshedpur. He emphasised that the city’s growth story stands as a testament to the founder’s determination and progressive outlook.

Among those who paid tribute were Chamber Vice Presidents Abhishek Agarwal Goldy and Harsh Bakrewal; Secretaries Anshul Ringasia, Bharat Makani and Vinod Sharma; Executive Members CA Prateek Agarwal, Pranjal Saraogi, Piyush Churiwala, Chandrakant Jatakia, Sameer Makani, Akash Bhadani and Rachit Chaudhary, along with a large number of Chamber members.

Later, President Manav Kedia also reached Postal Park in Bistupur and, along with N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, paid homage at the statue of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata.
