SCCI to host talk show on reducing carbon emissions in industrial establishments

Jamshedpur, Jan 8: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) will host a talk show on reducing carbon emissions in industrial establishments on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 5:45 PM at the Chamber Bhawan. Tata Steel Vice President (Safety, Health, and Sustainability) Rajiv Mangal will deliver the keynote address.

Vice President of Industry Subcommittee Puneet Kanwatia and Binod Sharma announced the event jointly. Chamber President Vijay Anand Moonka emphasized the urgent need to address carbon emissions, stating, “Indiscriminate carbon emissions are polluting the environment and causing fatal consequences for humans and animals. If not reduced, this will make the planet uninhabitable.”

Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia added, “This program will make entrepreneurs aware of ways to reduce carbon emissions in their industrial units and provide information about new technologies and techniques for achieving this.”
