Discussion focuses on delay in Jamshedpur Airport work
Jamshedpur, Dec 14: Taking into account the need of an airport in Jamshedpur yet another meet was held at Chamber Bhavan in Bistupur.
The theme of the meet was �An Airport in Jamshedpur is solution to various problems�, where members of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce & industry (SCCI), Adityapur Small Industry Association (ASIA) along with Sudhanshu Kumar, Chief Town Infrastructure & Logistic participated in the conference. The meet was headed by Suresh Sonthalia, President of SCCI.
During the discussion Sudhanshu Kumar of Tata Steel said that the company has chosen a 500-600 acre of land for airport in Gamharia. The land is of forest department so it is taking a bit time but the work is in progress and soon it will be completed.
Kumar further said that a Chief Consultant has been appointed and on his advice on PPP Mode Airport Authority of India have confirmed their participation. There have been efforts made to include Jharkhand Government in PPP Mode and help complete the work as soon as possible.
Discussions were also held on local industrial issues were focus was on how much work order MSME local companies get through RTI from government companies along how much work order does small enterprises receive from big industrial houses. Work was also done and date collection process on getting maximum orders.
At the meet SN Thakur, Inder Agrawal, Pravin Gutgutia, Santosh Khetan, Ashok Bhalotia, Bharat Vasani, Vijay Anand Moonka, Sudhir Kumar Singh, Dilip Golcha along with several others were present.
