Jamshedpur : The court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Rajendra Kumar Sinha sentenced Kande Biruli, accused of embezzling Rs 4.7 lakh collected from villagers after allegedly promising to pay them good returns, to five year jail term. The accused had allegedly taken money from five persons while representing himself as an agent of Real Bond Marketing and N Mart. He had promised that those investing will get double the investment amount in three to four years. One Jagdish Hessa paid Rs 4,06,550 while Yashpal Bari and Krishna Bari paid Rs 30,000 and Rs 28,000 respectively. Samir Bari and Gita Bari paid Rs 5000 and Rs 12,000 respectively. After three years, the alleged victims of fraud demanded their money back, but were never paid.
