Jamshedpur, July 26: All State Bank of India (SBI) employees will now be able to avail cashless facility at Jamshedpur’s Brahmananda Narayana Multispeciality Hospital (BNMH).
This was revealed by Navin Kumar, Regional Head of SBI in a press conference here today as BNMH signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the State Bank of India. Kumar said the MoU was signed keeping in mind the employee welfare and also the relentless services that BNMH has been providing to SBI employees in the past. He went on to add that the MoU was expected to have far-reaching benefits for SBI employees as the bank operates 250 branches in Jharkhand, out of which 72 branches are in Kolhan region.
The cashless facility will also cover all SBI employees from other states in the event of an illness while officially on transit in Jharkhand. �They will, however, have to inform SBI’s regional business office (RBO) in Golmuri�, said Kaushal Kishore Singh, RM, RBO Chaibasa.
“We are happy about this tie-up as Narayana has always been at the forefront of providing quality and hassle-free care at an affordable cost to its patients”, said Venkateshwarlu Marapaka, Facility Director at Narayana health Jamshedpur.
�We are sure SBI employees will try to derive maximum benefit from this facility in both emergency and planned hospitalization�, he added.
