Jamshedpur, August 4: RMS High School, Balichela, in collaboration with DBMS College of Education, joyfully celebrated the vibrant festival of Sawan Mahotsav with a variety of colourful cultural events and competitions. Titled Echoes of Sawan Mahotsav, the celebration brought together students, teachers, and guests in a festive atmosphere filled with music, dance, and creativity.
The event featured a range of competitions including the Sawan Dance Competition, Mehndi Competition, and Painting Competition. Students enthusiastically showcased their talents through traditional dance and music performances that captured the spirit of the monsoon season. The lively ambience transformed the school into a scene reminiscent of Sawan celebrations.

The occasion was graced by Chief Guests Shiv Shankar Gadia (School Trustee), Shashi Gadia, and Dr. Joohi Samarpita, Principal of DBMS College of Education. They awarded prizes to the winners and appreciated the efforts of all participants. Special guests M.P. Agarwal and Nandita Sinha also attended, along with school Principal Pratima Sinha, who played a key role in the event’s success.
In the inter-house competition, Ganga House secured first place, followed by Brahmaputra House in second and Narmada House in third. The winners were felicitated and encouraged for their excellent performances.
Principal Pratima Sinha extended a heartfelt vote of thanks and motivated the students, emphasizing the importance of such cultural events in the holistic development of children.
