Noamundi: A six day long Satyanarayana Puja started in Kumirta village of Noamundi on Wednesday. Singers from Orissa have been invited to sing bhajans during the religious ceremony.
A devotee of the village Nebho Behara said, �Lord Satyanarayana�s Puja is popularly known as Pala Puja by the local people.
The puja will be performed alternatively three nights by female members and three nights by male members.
A large number of villagers assemble to listen to the divine praise of Lord Sataynarayana.�
