Saryu urges Jamshedpur West voters to reject misconceptions, emphasizes ‘Cylinder is Lotus’ in Jharkhand Polls

Jamshedpur: NDA candidate from Jamshedpur West, Saryu Roy , issued a strong warning to the electorate during a public meeting at Bodhi Mandir Ground, Sakchi, asserting that criminal gangs in the area have flourished over the past five years, allegedly under the protection of influential people. He vowed that once the NDA forms the government, these gangs will be dismantled through strict legal measures, ensuring no criminal is spared.

Speaking about the deteriorating conditions in Jamshedpur West,  Roy  noted that despite his efforts five years ago, the locality’s infrastructure has further declined. “The situation in Mango has worsened—basic amenities like pure drinking water are still not available. The water tanks we built back then are not even in use,” he lamented. He also criticized the frequent power outages, pointing out that such problems were minimal during his tenure.

In a firm six-minute speech,  Roy  addressed rumors that the BJP’s lotus symbol was absent from Jamshedpur West this election, clarifying that the “cylinder is the lotus, and the lotus is the cylinder” in this poll. “Do not be deceived by claims that there is no lotus here. They are the same,” he emphasized.

Roy  further accused the local administration of bowing down to those in power, allowing criminal elements to operate with impunity. “The Jamshedpur administration crawls before the powerful, allowing these gangs to commit crimes, extort money, and carry out shootings without consequences. This has to stop,” he asserted.

Promising strong action if the NDA is voted back to power,  Roy  said, “The criminal gangs of Kadma and Sonari will be broken. We will ensure strict legal action against every criminal. No one will be spared.”

The rally saw the participation of several prominent leaders from the NDA, including Jharkhand Assembly Election Co-in-charge Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chhattisgarh MLA Bhavna Bohra, and three ministers from Bihar—Ashok Choudhary, Shravan Kumar, and Madan Sahni.
