Jamshedpur, Jan 28: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has taken initiative to bring the body of Kamaljeet Singh, a resident of Golmuri Tuiladungri, who died during treatment in Kuwait hospital after being seriously injured by a blast in Kuwait’s oil factory, and demanding compensation to the relatives of the deceased Kamaljeet. He wrote a letter to the official of the Indian Embassy in Kuwait.
In response to Roy’s letter, the Indian Embassy official said that preparations are being made to send Kamaljit’s body to India. The Indian Ambassador present there has met the Deputy Prime Minister and Petroleum Minister of Kuwait and urged them to get proper compensation for Kamaljit’s family members.
The information available in this regard will be given to the family members. Earlier, Roy had written a letter to the Indian Embassy in Kuwait seeking complete information about the explosion in Kuwait’s oil factory, including the state of health of Kamaljit during treatment, and the help being provided to Kamaljit by the Kuwait Ministry and officials. Information was obtained and demanded proper treatment and providing all the information from time to time to the family members.
