Demands immediate action
Jamshedpur : The senior BJP leader Saryu Roy spoke to project director Awdhesh Kumar for the poor NH condition. In protest against the poor condition of the road and build pressure on the government, Roy has also threatened to stage demonstration at project office in Ranchi if the repair work is not started at war footing.
“‘The horrible condition of the NH-33 between Ranchi and Jamshedpur is a clear example of that negligence. If there is a delay on part of the NH agency then at least the state government should carry out temporary repairing of the highway.
What is stopping the local government from improving the pathetic condition,” said the former MLA from Jamshedpur West.
He said the stretch between Rangaon, on the NH-33, is pitiable and deserves immediate attention but concerned agencies of the state government are apparently insensitive to the issue.
“It is really sad that for the last several months I have only been receiving assurances from the senior authorities but there’s no progress on the ground as far as NH construction work is concerned,” said Roy.
Holding both the state and Union government responsible for the uninspiring approach on the NH subject the former MLA said: If immediate steps are not taken we will be forced to launch an agitation. For the people’s sake we will also take support of JVM leaders for the cause.
