Saryu Roy seeks HDP pipe supply for Moharda project

Jamshedpur, March 27: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has written to the Vice President (Corporate Services), Tata Steel, Chanakya Chaudhary, requesting him to ensure availability of HDP pipes for providing piped water connection to the beneficiaries of Moharda water supply project. He said the HDP pipes were not in the stock of Tata Steel UISL for the last four months. As a result, it had become difficult to provide water connections to eligible beneficiaries, he said. Roy urged Chaudhary to direct Tata Steel UISL to purchase the HDP pipes as soon as possible so that the water connections may be provided to people without further delay. He said the summer season had started and water scarcity would be witnessed in different parts of the city.
