Jamshedpur, Dec 6: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has offered the Anti Corruption Bureau of Jharkhand help in conducting investigation against him.
In a letter to the Principal Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat and Coordination (Vigilance) Department, Jharkhand, Roy said, “The ACB has sought permission from the Cabinet Secretariat to probe into allegations of corruption leveled against me. It has sought permission for comparing the charges with the original files submitted along with the complaint. I had sought details of the files through an RTI application and have received the same. I am ready to give the ACB copies of these files so that the agency may compare the same with the original files. This would save time and expedite the probe.”
Roy said he had got a bunch of 2500 pages of documents through RTI on 30th November and 5th December last. He said the ACB officials could take copies of the documents from his office. He requested the Principal Secretary to direct the ACB to take the copies from him to speed up the probe and arrive at a definite conclusion in the matter.
