Jamshedpur, Nov 12: Banna Gupta, the INDI Alliance candidate for Jamshedpur West, has accused his opponent Saryu Roy of attempting to spread religious frenzy after realizing that the people of Jamshedpur West have rejected him. Gupta claimed that Roy, who had previously criticized BJP workers, now seeks their support, but the mature BJP workers have not forgotten his insults. Gupta stated that Roy is trying to polarize voters based on religion and caste but asserted that the voters of Jamshedpur will focus on development rather than fall for Roy’s tactics. Gupta emphasized his focus on building infrastructure, including a ring road, making Jamshedpur an education hub, ensuring employment for youth, and completing ongoing projects like the MGM College, Law Degree College, and Mango flyover.
On the eve of the election, Banna Gupta visited a temple dedicated to Mata and prayed for the well-being of the city and its residents. He also expressed his commitment to completing key development projects, such as the inter-state bus stand and making Sonari Domukhani Sangam a tourist destination.
