Saryu Roy inaugurates three projects in Sonari, Kadma

Jamshedpur, Oct 4: State food and civil supplies minister Saryu Roy dedicated three development projects worth Rs 1.15 crore to the citizens in Sonari and Kadma on Friday. In Kailashnagar, Sonari, a pond has been renovated and the upper floor of Sonari Vir Manch community building has also been constructed. In Ramjanamnagar, Kadma, the upper portion of a community building has been built.

Addressing the gathering, Roy said the pond renovation work in Kailashnagar cost Rs 78 lakh. The pond will be used and aintained by the local residents, he said.
Roy appealed to the local residents to take care of the pond and keep it clean at all times. He said earlier the pond was full of much and its water smelled foul. The local residents approached him and sought its renovation, Roy said.

Roy said he had sent his recommendations to the Urban Development Department to fulfill the demands of local residents and ensure cleaning and deepening of the pond.

Among others present during the programme included JNAC Special Officer Krishna Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Chitranjan Verma, Mukul Mishra, Manish Pandey, Pradip Singh and Kavita Singh Munda.
