Over 50,000 products available across 150 stalls at the fair

Jamshedpur: State Food and Civil Supplies Minister Saryu Roy Wednesday inaugurated National Art and Craft Expo 2019 jointly with district BJP president Dinesh Kumar at Ganesh Puja ground, Kadma.
Addressing the gathering, Roy said the fair would be the centre of attraction for the city people with the variety of art and craft items put on display at its stalls. He said the organizers had given a platform to the quality products made by artisans.
The district BJP president too, praised the organizers for helping and motivating the artisans. He said such events should be held regularly for their welfare.
Rajneesh Kumar, representative of National Art and Craft Expo 2019, said around 150 stalls of traders and artisans from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Jharkhand have been put up at the fair.
A food court is also there at the fair for the visitors to give them a taste of delicacies of different states, he said.
Kumar said more than 50,000 items including Khadi handloom, handicraft, furniture, agricultural items, leather products, stationery, toys, jute products, Silk saris, Ayurvedic medicines, carpets, pickles and paintings would be available at the fair. The fair would be open from 11 am till 9 pm.
