Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy on Sunday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for multiple development projects worth Rs 12,38,60,952. Of this, projects worth Rs 1,55,75,900 were inaugurated under the Urban Development Department, while works worth Rs 7,84,06,752 were inaugurated under the 15th Finance Commission. In addition, foundation stones were laid for projects worth Rs 2,98,78,300 under the Urban Development Department. The ceremony was held at a hotel on Dimna Road.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Roy emphasized his vision to ensure equal development of areas across the bridge, including Bistupur and Sonari. “Achievement begins with resolution. Once we take a pledge for development and move in the right direction, progress is inevitable,” he said.
Recalling earlier struggles, he highlighted that Mango once faced acute water and electricity shortages. “We resolved to end these problems, built multiple water tanks, and gradually minimized the crisis. Whatever remains will also be resolved. Electricity problems too have almost ended as Mango is now connected to two power grids,” he added.
The event was attended by MP representative Sanjeev Kumar, Mango Municipal Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar, Assistant Municipal Commissioner Aaqib Javed, Assistant Engineers Mayank Mishra and Santosh Kumar, Junior Engineer Subodh Das, and several social and political representatives including Jalaluddin Ansari, Vipin Kumar, Mahesh Kumar, Manas Sathpathy, Ashutosh Rai, Neeraj Singh, Amrita Mishra, Mahua Chakraborty, Rajiv Singh, Chhotan Mishra, Vinod Rai, Nisar Ahmed, Hareram Singh, Raghavendra Singh, Sunil Singh, Pintu Singh, Munna Singh, Santosh Bhagat, Mahesh Singh, Raju Prajapati, Sanjay Singh, Seema Sharma, Mamta Thakur and others.
