Saryu Roy addresses development challenges in Jamshedpur constituency

Jamshedpur : In a meeting held at the JNAC Office, MLA Saryu Roy expressed concern over delays in the construction of roads and various schemes. Roy emphasized the need for immediate action on pending projects, directing the Additional Municipal Commissioner to expedite the work and blacklist non-compliant contractors.
Highlighting the importance of timely execution, Roy urged the swift tendering of schemes selected in the District Planning Selection Committee. He instructed officials to optimize funds from the 15th Finance Commission for the development of riverine areas. Special attention was given to sanitation improvement and the construction of a crucial road from Bhuiyandih Litti Chowk to Bhuiyandih river bank.
He also directed efforts towards the Moharda drinking water project, urging collaboration with JUSCO for its second phase. Proposing innovative solutions, he suggested exploring options to transport water directly from Chandil Dam to intake wells, reducing pollution and cost.
Additional initiatives included plans for drainage waste development, year-round cleaning of drains, road naming in Birsanagar colony, drone mapping of government lands, and the expedited completion of various infrastructure projects. Rai emphasized community welfare, pushing for the operational efficiency of public spaces and better maintenance of parks in the Jamshedpur access area.
The press release concluded with assurance from the Additional Municipal Commissioner to implement the outlined schemes promptly and employ additional engineers to expedite the measurement work.
