Jamshedpur: State food minister Saryu Roy handed the keys of e-rickshaws to three youths at a function organized at the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee office on Wednesday. The e-rickshaws were given to Ramakant, Santosh and Arun Kumar.
Roy congratulated the beneficiaries and announced that very soon the JNAC would give pink rickshaws to 25 women and girls.
In order to get the e-rickshaws, each of the beneficiaries had to deposit Rs 26,600 at the JNAC office. Arun Kumar had come to the function with his mother.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Chitranjan Verma, Ashutosh Roy, Salil Tirkey and G Minj.
