Saryu directs party men to form committee to monitor cleanliness drive

Jamshedpur: State food minister Saryu Roy here on Friday directed all Mandal unit presidents of Bharatiya Janata Party to set up a committee to monitor cleanliness work in their respective areas. He issued the instructions during a meeting of all Mandal unit presidents of Jamshedpur West Assembly constituency held at the Bistupur office of the party.

Roy said the committee members would further set up zones and zonal committees. In each zone, mohalla committees would be formed. Every Sunday, at least five party members would visit their respective areas and took stock of the problems being faced by the local residents. The members would also ensure that the cleanliness work is carried out properly in their areas, Roy said.

Roy said the committee members should inform him on the public grievance number 18001212395. The campaign would start on 15th October. Various other issues were discussed at the meeting.

Among those present at the meeting included Chitranjan Verma, Mukul Mishra, Satyavan Tiwary, Vikas Singh, Deepu Singh, Chunnu Bhumij, Sur Ranjan Rai and Uma Shankar Singh.
