CM plants seedlings on Assembly premises, hopes to see 2019 Budget Session in new building
Ranchi: Addressing people after having planted seedlings in under construction legislative assembly premises, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that development is necessary for the rapidly changing economy.
But the government doesn�t favour development on the cost of environment. The government is committed to protect and promote environment.
In the last two sessions, the govt. has done massive tree plantation and tried to connect common people with this campaign.
Now the positive side of this drive is getting visible. The government believes in the promotion of culture around forests.
The CM said that Sarana and Sanatan are nature worshippers and trees are the center of their lifestyle. People of the world are showing their concern for environment but Sarana and Sanatan people have protected the forests down the ages.
Summoning the workers to plant trees in the new legislative assembly, the CM said that the premises will remember them for years. This will be the best legislative assembly favouring greenery.
