Jamshedpur, July 17: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur celebrated its 29th installation ceremony at a hotel on Marine Drive, marking a significant milestone as the organization completes 100 years globally. With a membership exceeding 120,000 across 100 countries and 4,000 clubs, the Inner Wheel continues to make an impact worldwide.
The event was honored by the presence of Alakananda Bakshi, District Chairman for 2024-25, who attended as the chief guest. During the ceremony, Immediate Past President Archana Shekar handed over the leadership to the incoming Club President, Sarika Singh. The new team also includes Vice President Babita Sharma, Secretary Agnes Boyle, Treasurer Jyoti Bhagat, Editor Raksha Makati, and ISO Bidya Tiwari.

The ceremony saw the attendance of esteemed guests, including the Presidents and Secretaries of other Inner Wheel Clubs, reflecting the camaraderie and collective spirit of the organization.
Highlighting the theme ‘Heartbeat for Humanity,’ introduced by International Inner Wheel President Mamta Gupta, the club reaffirmed its commitment to various social causes. Their focus areas for the upcoming year include cervical cancer vaccination, environmental initiatives, support for elderly citizens, literacy programs, and other efforts aimed at societal betterment.
