Ranchi, July 5: Jharkhand Rajya Sabha MP Sarfaraz Ahmed has been appointed as the leader of JMM parliamentary party in Rajya Sabha.
The decision to nominate him was taken in the meeting of JMM parliamentary party.
Information to this effect has been given with the signature of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Central president Shibu Soren.
He has written a letter to the chairman of Rajya Sabha in this regard informing JMM Rajya Sabha member from Jharkhand Sarfaraz Ahmed has been elected as the leader of JMM parliamentary party in Rajya Sabha.
Sarfaraz Ahmed is a senior party leader and has experience of parliamentary work. He has worked on many parliamentary committees.
