Jamshedpur, Feb 13: Valley View School celebrated its Annual Day and Parents Day on Thursday, with great enthusiasm on the campus. The programme began with the inauguration of the school’s new fountain area by School Managing Committee Chairman Umesh Kumar Singh.
The Principal presented the Annual Report for the academic session 2025–26, highlighting the school’s achievements and activities. A major attraction of the cultural programme was a musical titled “Ek Mahabharat, Yeh Bhi,” in which students presented a modern interpretation of the Mahabharat.
Long Service Awards, along with pure silver trophies, were presented to five teachers and one multi-tasking staff member for their dedicated service. Among student awards, Mayank Mangaraj received the Vigyan Award for excellence in Science, while Saraswati and Sajan Kumar Bhagat were honoured with the Principal’s Award for Good Citizenship.
In the morning, Montessori Parents’ Day was celebrated. Chief Guest Dr Sunita Hota distributed prizes, and the event concluded with a colourful show titled “Nature” by the young students.
