DJ Units Seized in Late-Night Police Raid at Dhalbhum Club in Sakchi

Jamshedpur: Police conducted a late-night raid at Dhalbhum Club in the Sakchi police station area around 1:30 am on February 12 following complaints of loud music. Despite prior warnings to stop the DJ, organisers allegedly failed to comply, prompting a crackdown by the police.

Based on the statement of ASI Praveen Lakra, a case has been registered against organiser Kishore Prasad, event manager Vishal Kumar alias Vishal Music, DJ owner Mukhtar Singh, and the vehicle used for transporting the equipment.

Police seized four DJ units, four amplifiers, and a pickup van during the operation. Officials said the accused failed to produce valid documents for operating the DJ. As per rules, DJs are permitted only till 10 pm at weddings and other events. Police have warned of strict action against violations of noise pollution norms.
