Gamharia, July 15: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Cricket Association of Saraikela-Kharsawan District was held in Gamharia, under the chairmanship of Association President Dr. Ajay Kumar. The session was conducted by General Secretary Prabir Kumar.
During the meeting, Dr. Kumar presented a detailed report on the association’s sports achievements and events for the year 2024–25. He also outlined the proposed activities and development plans for the financial year 2025–26. The presentation received unanimous approval from the Executive Committee members, who appreciated the association’s efforts with loud cheers.
General Secretary Prabir Kumar addressed the gathering on the latest facilities available for players and highlighted recent changes in the sports calendar and administrative framework. Dr. Ajay Kumar emphasized the collective vision of strengthening the district’s cricket ecosystem and assured that the association is actively working toward completing infrastructure projects and enhancing sports resources.
The AGM saw the participation of key office bearers including Executive President K. Prabhat Kiran, Vice President Madhu Singh, Treasurer Raghavendra, and Association Representative Shyam Kumar Sharma, along with other active executive members. Their joint efforts contributed to the successful conduct of the meeting, marking a step forward in the district’s cricket development journey.
