Saraikela, Dec 27: Shahid Divas will be observed at the Shahid Sthan in Kharsawan on Friday, January 1 in which chief Minister Hemant Soren, central’s Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda, MPs, MLAs, veteran leaders and other dignitaries are expected to attend to pay their respects. Anticipating a huge crowd, the Deputy Commissioner Iqbal Alam Ansari, SP Md Arshi, DDC Pravin Kumar Gagrai, Saraikela SDO Ramkrishna Kumar, SDPO Rakesh Ranjan and other officials carried out intense inspection to ensure law and order in and around the Samadhi Sthal and adjoining areas.
The inspection also included the Helipad ground in Behersai and the PWD Bungalow in Kharsawan. The DC said, “The Shahid Divas will be observed in traditional manner. The visitors including the general people will offer their respects to the martyrs at the Samadhi Sthal in a very simple manner. We have made arrangements in a manner that nobody faces any problem whatsoever.”
SP Md Arshi informed, “All security arrangements will be in place while observing Shahid Divas. Jawans will be posted at all vantage points and safety measures will be foolproof.”
Others who accompanied the DC and SP during inspection included DFO Aditya Narayan, BDO Mukesh Machhua, Kharsawan PS OC Prakash Kumar Rajak, Amda OP in-charge Md Naushad, Saraikela PS OC Manohar Kumar, Shri cement Co Manager BK Tripathy and others.
