Saraikela, March 24: The second phase of Covid-19 vaccination drive concluded in 45 panchayats of Saraikela-Kharsawan district on Wednesday, March 24. Total of 4094 people got Covid shots including 3227 people who are above 60 years of age. Civil Surgeon Dr Himanshu Bhusan Barwar informed that 3227 senior citizens above the age of 60 got COVID shots in the district on Wednesday.
The vaccination drive which began in the morning saw people queuing up at different locations. 470 people got COVID shots in Saraikela, 491 in Rajnagar, 425 in Nimdih, 464 in Kuchai, 539 in Kharsawan, 232 in Kudku, 546 in Ichagarh, 632 in Gamharia and 295 people were administered COVID vaccine in Chandil.
