Santhals outfit opposes �kissing fest�

Jamshedpur: Members of Jharkhand Santhal Hansda Akhara on Monday condemned the kissing contest organized in the Dumaria Mela organized by Simon Marandi in Littipara (Pakur). The outfit president Dr Hopna Hansda said Marandi had insulted the tribal culture. He said such an incident was alien to the people and culture of Jharkhand. He said such events should be boycotted by one and all. He said it was an attempt to put an end to the rich culture and traditions of Jharkhand.
