Santa comes riding on bike with selfie stick, opens bag of joy at Little Flower School Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Dec 22: Christmas is a time to share and care, as we celebrate the birth of the Saviour.  Celebrated the world over as a joyous affair, Christmas was celebrated at Little Flower School (LFS) as a happy time for the school children.  ‘Mary’s boy child’, ‘Jingle bells’, ‘Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer’, ‘Rockin’ around the Christmas tree’ filled the air as the children entered the school this morning, full of excitement. 

The assembly stage was decorated with bright and colourful bells, stars and balloons as were all the classes of the school.  The programme began with the Principal reading out a Christmas message to the staff and students, following which, the children of the Upper Kindergarten presented the Nativity scene and displayed vibrant and lively dances, to the delight of the all the students around.

The Christmas carols sung by the students of the Glee Club only contributed to the festive spirit. The highlight of the event – a tech-savvy Santa!  It was most delightful to witness Santa’s grand entry with his little replica on a ‘motorbike’ sled, and a selfie stick in his hand. 

The children went berserk with joy and the staff couldn’t resist a selfie with dear old Santa.  Amid dancing and singing, sweets were distributed to all the classes before they returned to their classes.
