Ghatshila, Nov 27: Sant Nandlal Smriti Vidya Mandir (SNSVM) organized an interactive session for mothers, focusing on the holistic development of primary students and offering them valuable guidance.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by School Administrator Shobha Ganeriwal, School Manager Dr. Prasenjit Karmakar and Principal Neelkamal Sinha.
In her inaugural address, Principal Neelkamal Sinha emphasized, “Holistic development goes beyond academics and includes mental, physical, social, and emotional growth.”
Keynote speakers Soma Dutta and Shravani Aditya discussed various aspects of child development, highlighting the critical roles of parents, balanced diets, sports, creative activities and mental well-being. An open discussion allowed mothers to share experiences and receive expert advice.
Administrator Shobha Ganeriwal noted, “Such programs foster stronger bonds between mothers and children, promoting overall development.”
The session was well-received, with a large number of mothers finding it insightful. The school assured participants of future sessions to continue supporting parents in nurturing their children.
Media coordinators Aman Agarwal (Class 9) and Aradhya Goyal (Class 7), along with team members Somnath Dey, Vidyut Baran Chandra, Laxmi Priya Das, Lakkhi Mani Adhikari, Krishna Das and Pallavi Saha were in the organizing team.
