Jamshedpur, Feb 16: At the annual get-together of Akil Akhra in Karandih today, chief guest and legislator Sanjiv Sardar said, �Akil Akhra is a well established club and I will do my best towards its development. The playground will be developed in line with modern standards.�
An advisory committee and an executive body were formed on the occasion. The advisory committee includes legislator Sanjiv Sardar, former legislator Sanatan Majhi, Prof Digambar Hansda, CR Majhi, Sudam Hembrom, Shyam Charan Murmu, Virodh Hansda, Dr Balram Murmu, Gumda Soren, Joseph Tudu and Panchanan Mardi.
The programme was chaired by Akil Akhra president Dil Bahadur while secretary Arjun Tudu anchored the proceedings. Among those present on the occasion were Mukhiya Monika Hembram, popular footballer Sudam Hembram, Sushila Soren, Jursi Tudu, Panchanan Mardi, Lal Singh Sardar, Bhunda Hansda, Muniram Mardi, Joshen Kumar Murmu, Sunil Purty, Pradhan Soren, Aruno Kumar Behra and others.
