Jamshedpur, Jan 10 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday formally announced the election of Sanjeev Sinha as the new District President of BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar at the party’s district office in Sakchi.
The declaration was made by Manoj Singh, District Election Officer and State General Secretary, in the presence of Biranchi Narayan, Election Observer and former MLA.
Alongwith the district president’s post, the names of several leaders were also announced as members of the State Council.
These included former MP Abha Mahato, former MLA Menka Sardar, State Minister Nandji Prasad, former District President Binod Singh, State Working Committee member Manoj Singh, and Kisan Morcha District President Muchiram Bauri.
The district office was festooned with party flags and a special stage was set up to mark the occasion. Senior leaders of the party, along with a large number of BJP workers and supporters from various mandals, gathered to witness the announcement.
As soon as Sanjeev Sinha’s name was declared, the entire premises echoed with cheers and slogans, reflecting the enthusiasm among party cadres.
The newly elected district president was warmly welcomed by senior leaders, mandal presidents and thousands of workers with garlands, shawls and bouquets.
The celebrations included the distribution of sweets, beating of drums, slogan-shouting and even fireworks, turning the event into a vibrant show of unity and support.
Addressing the gathering, Sanjeev Sinha expressed his gratitude to the party’s top leadership for entrusting him with this responsibility.
He said that in the BJP, positions are not merely posts but responsibilities, and he would strive to discharge this duty with full dedication, honesty and commitment.
