Jamshedpur, April 12: Sanjeev Netralaya, a leading eye care institution in the Kolhan division, will celebrate its 6th Foundation Day with a grand event on April 13, 2025, at its Jamshedpur premises. The day-long event will feature live surgeries and a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session focusing on the latest advancements in ophthalmology.
Dr. Sahil Pall, Civil Surgeon of East Singhbhum, Jharkhand, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The highlight of the celebration will be live eye surgeries conducted by eminent ophthalmologists from across India. Notable surgeons include Dr. D. K. Singhal (Jamshedpur), Dr. Anup Mondal (West Bengal), Dr. Sunil Singh, HOD of the Eye Department at RIIMS, Ranchi, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Tiriya, Director of Sanjeev Netralaya, Dr. Kumar Saket, Dr. Ravi Daulat Barhabiya, and Dr. Rajeev Priyadarshi (all from Jamshedpur), Dr. Rahul Bahekar from Maharashtra, and Dr. Subodh Singh from Ranchi.
The CME session will feature expert talks and presentations by nationally acclaimed eye specialists. Speakers include Dr. Partha Biswas, President of the All India Ophthalmological Society and Director of Trinetra Eye Hospital, Kolkata, along with Dr. Rupak Kanti Biswas (Netralayam), Dr. Aniruddha Maiti (Global Eye Hospital), Dr. Maneesh Singh (Netralayam), Dr. Krishnendu Nandi, Dr. Shahid Alam (Sankara Netralaya), Dr. Malay Verma, Dr. Bharti Sharma (Tata Main Hospital), Dr. Mihir Kumar Sahoo (AMRI Hospital), and Dr. Subodh Singh.
Dr. Rajeev Priyadarshi, Vitreo Retina Surgeon at Sanjeev Netralaya, will also be among the key presenters. Senior ophthalmologists from Jamshedpur and surrounding areas are expected to attend.
