Sanjeev Netralaya rolls out advanced phaco machine in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Dec 6 : Sanjeev Netralaya, located on the third floor of Umesh Tower near the AIR Station on the Adityapur–Kandra main road, inaugurated its advanced phaco machine along with a fully equipped, state-of-the-art operation theatre on Saturday.

The facility was launched by the hospital’s director, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Tiriya, who also successfully performed three advanced phaco surgeries during the inauguration.

Dr. Tiriya said the new setup will greatly benefit residents of the region, who previously had to travel to far-off places like Mango for specialized eye treatment.

With the introduction of an advanced OT and diagnostic services, world-class ophthalmic care is now available right in Adityapur.

Senior phaco surgeon and in-charge of the Adityapur centre, Dr. Rekha Chandra, said that the centre will now offer comprehensive eye treatments and surgical procedures.

Vitreo-retina specialist Dr. Rajeev Priyadarshi highlighted that the number of diabetic patients in the region is high, making retina-related issues common.

With the new facilities, retina examinations and advanced treatments will be easily accessible locally.

Sanjeev Netralaya has been known for its advanced retina care and continues to adopt cutting-edge technologies.

Manager Prasunjeet Sarkar informed that cashless services will soon be available and a dedicated vitreo-retina surgical unit will also be launched in the coming days.

The centre is now fully equipped to offer complete eye care, advanced surgeries, and modern diagnostic services.

The newly installed next-generation phacoemulsification machine enables micro-incision cataract procedures that are faster, safer, minimally invasive, and nearly painless, ensuring quicker recovery and premium lens implantation options.
