Chaibasa, Feb. 1: Adivasi Sengel Abhiyan led by Salkhan Murmu has staged a two-day dharna at Pillai Hall here on Saturday and Sunday and passed a resolution condemning the current BJP and previous JMM governments in the state.
Addressing the participants in the dharna, Murmu alleged JMM formed the government promising a domicile policy for Jharkhand, but did nothing in this regard. He alleged that the JMM also promised to stop the construction of the Kharkai-Ichha dam, but did not keep its promise.
According to Murmu, the domicile policy is a Constitutional provision and it is essential for the people of Jharkhand as well as for their employment and justice.
Present Chief Minister Raghubar Das has also taken a �U-turn� on the domicile issue. �It is a big bluff to the people of Jharkhand and the present government has conspired to deprive the local people of three lakh government jobs,� Murmu alleged.
