Sakchi unit of Marwadi Sammelan making sweets through 30 years

Jamshedpur: The Sakchi unit of Marwadi Sammelan has been making sweets and salty snacks since 30 years to cater to the requirements of its community on the auspicious occasion of Dipawali. This year too, this tradition continues.

The sweets and salty delicacies are being made at the Agrasen Bhawan in Sakchi. The purpose behind the making of these delicacies is to provide Marwadi community members with qualitative products at the right price and weight.

This year Bajrang Chaudhary of Jugsali and Hari Prasad Maharaj from Kolkata along with their teams of 25 confectionary experts are engaged in the preparations.
The Marwadi Sammelan Sakchi branch president Om Prakash Ringasia informed, �Orders for sweets and salty snacks would be accepted till November 2 up to 7 pm.

The sweets will be distributed as per orders between November 4 and 5.� He said that till today the orders received exceeded those in earlier years.

The order forms are available at Agrasen Bhawan and other designated places. The process is being managed by Bajrang Lal Agrawal, Sanwar Mal Agrawal, Sita Ram Debuka, Ramesh Moonka, Om Prakash Sanghi, Pawan Singhania and Mahabir Modi.
