Jamshedpur, August 18: Sakchi police station turned into a battle ground on Monday night after Mango Gurudwara Chief Gurmukh Singh ‘Mukhe’ and BJP district president Rajkumar Srivastav exchanged blows after a person alleged of firing bullets at Raja, owner of Ice-cream parlour at Sakchi roundabout who survived attack on Monday evening was arrested by the crowd with arms and handed over to the Sakchi Police.
Mukhe accused Rajkumar Srivastav of sending the shooter to the icecream shop and the matter got heated up as both exchanged severe blows in Sakchi police station premises.
Police is investigating the matter and inquiring about the whole incident from the arrested shooter.
Steel city has witnessed several incidents of gun shoot in the last couple of months and police has been successful in some of the cases were accused have been arrested.
Earlier local mob caught a youth in the allegation of firing and handed over him to police.
