Jamshedpur, August 18: Aman Ahmed and Shakshi Dodrajka of Loyola School were crowned MR and Miss Rhapsody, the most awaited event of the day at XLRI Auditorium on Monday.
The couple came out as the perfect man and woman during the cultural extravaganza. Each of the fifteen schools nominated two particpants-one boy and one girl student after which a preliminary elimination round was held based on a questionnaire were 5 boys and 5 girls were selcted for the final round.
During the final round Classical or traditional Europe, Talent round and Question round were held and after two intense rounds Aman Ahmed and Shakshi Dodrajka of Loyola School were declared the winner. Some of the other events held were Ad Mad Show, Sand Art, Travail, Mr.& Miss Rhapsody, Cuisine Delight, etc.
�The creativity displayed by the children in enthralling. It only proves that education today goes beyond test books and rote learning. All round development of children is a top priority,� said the Loyola Jyoti Moderator, Mrs. Charanjeet Ohson.
�This great event witnesses the influx of more than 900 students from 15 schools which includes 4 Hindi schools,� informed the Loyola Jyoti President, Lipika Roy.
Earlier the event was inaugurated by Fr. Jaison Joshua, S.J., the Jyoti Co-ordinator, Fr. C.L. George, S.J., the Rector of Loyola School, Fr. Sebastian Puthenpura, S.J., the Principal of Loyola School and Dr. Mrs. Pinky Midha, Vice Principal of Loyola School.
