Jamshedpur: Sakchi police team on January 21 arrested one Chandan Kumar Singh and seized a stolen TVS heavy duty moped he was driving.
The police during a vehicle checking drive stopped the two-wheeler bearing no number plate. When the police asked the driver Chandan Kumar Singh could not furnish papers of the vehicle.
During interrogation the accused revealed that he had stolen the vehicle from Bagbera recently.
Thereafter the police arrested Chandan and seized the stolen vehicle.
A case has been registered in this regard with Sakchi PS.
It came to light that Chandan Kumar Singh is a habitual offender and cases had already been registered against him at Bagbera PS.
