Noamundi : Gua SAIL has decided to set up 4MTPA pellet plants at Birsa Nagar Gua . The Steel Authority of India Gua Unit has announced compensation rupees 90 thousands for each family of Birsa Nagar villagers for their displacement .
The villagers held a meeting on Tuesday and passed a resolution that the Amount is too less to construct a
house and we should take the matters with higher officials .
While speaking to the villagers , President of Birsanagr village Ravi Mahaptra said We demand from the steel Authority to provide a house with water and electricity facility besides job at least for one person in each family .
We are settled by Sail around fifty years back . Earlier former MP Madhu Koda assured us to help a fair
compensation from SAIl but Now he changed himself .
Now the present MP Laxaman Gilua had also assured to cooperate us in order to get a good compensation .
But Now he is also silent. We are very much perplexed that what will happen to us . SAIL is adamant to evacuate us .
On the occasion a large number of villagers were present .
