Gua: SAIL employee and social worker Jagdish Singh alias Munna Babu was accorded warm send off after he retired on Saturday, October 3.
The farewell ceremony presided over by Chief General Manager Bipin Kumar Giri was held at HRD Building of SAIL Gua. Jagdish Singh was employed in the Water Treatment Plant Department. He has been a social worker in Gua and has been instrumental in providing drinking water to households through pipeline in Gua area colony.
Jagdish Singh was honored with certificates of appreciation. The event was held with COVID protocols in place and few labour union leaders were present during the function. Present on the occasion were SAIL’s C.B Kumar, Assistant General Manager Santosh Kumar Manjhi, Assistant General Manager Laxmikant Bhandari, along with SAIL Gua workers Shramir Vinod Sahu, Mukesh Paswan, Vinod Tanti, Ramchandra Das and others.
